Elishema is a soulful R&B singer, entertainer, and recording artist. She has performed both locally and internationally for small groups and large crowds, and in venues ranging from small house concerts to large festival engagements. Her performances are lively and interactive. She can perform solo, or with a band depending on your needs. Elishema has an extensive repertoire of music ranging from classic R&B/Soul to contemporary R&B/Soul. She also has a Sade tribute act prepared for elegant events, as well as original songs from her music catalog. Elishema has released two albums, "New Beginnings," and "Break a Sweat For Me."

Elishema born and raised on the south side of Chicago is an R&B/Soul singer, songwriter, producer, and dancer known for her inspirational lyrics and stunning stage presence. Her influences include Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Patti Labelle, and Brandy to name a few. Her sound and persona can best be described as a Lauryn Hill meets Beyonce with a tasteful twist of Rihanna. And as a songwriter she aims to inject wisdom, love and gratitude into the themes of her songs which she labels “music of empowerment.”
She officially blasted onto the music scene with her 2010 Jazzy R&B single “Sophisticated Man” which was well received by both internet and specialty commercial radio and praised by fans worldwide. In 2011 she released her debut album “New Beginnings” under her family’s indie label Inway Records.
Since then Elishema has continued to grow and conserve her fan base through live performances and the releasing of new music that included the latest single’s “Your Love” and “All Mine.”
Elishema has performed on stage as the opening act for the legendary music group the Chi-Lites on several occasions in large venues. She has also shared the stage with, Dwele, Dena Spivey, Maggie Brown Junior, among many other artist. She started her 2015 touring debut performing in concert with her band at Valparaiso University in Indiana, and then sharing the stage with two chart topping artist K Jon and Noel Gourdin in North Carolina. From there she ventured off to her first international tour performing in West Africa at various venues throughout Ghana, and during her homecoming back to Chicago in early June Elishema performed in a Tribute concert to “Kool In The Gang” who were at the event, entertained at the International festival of life, and the annual Kermes street festival among others. Most recently Elishema headlined a Tribute Concert to Sade
Only thing required for Elishema to perform is a PA System. We can provide a PA system for a small event 0-100 people if needed for Elishema's performance.
