Depending on your needs, I can help with:

• Full or partial planning, including venue searches, vendor recommendations, and coordination.
• Event design and styling, from colors and inspiration to tablescapes, backdrops, and finishing touches.
• Décor setup, thoughtfully arranging your items or décor sourced as part of your package.
• Day-of coordination, including timelines, vendor communication, and overseeing the flow of your celebration.
• Virtual planning and design, with sourcing links, design guidance, and setup instructions you can follow wherever you are.

Hi, I’m Elise, the founder of Elise Nicole Events! I’m an event planner and designer based in Washington, DC, serving DC, Maryland, and Virginia, with virtual planning available wherever you’re celebrating.

My love for events started with the celebrations I experienced growing up—the beautiful tables, imaginative decorations, and little surprises that made the whole room feel special. Those memories stayed with me, and they’re a big part of why I love creating celebrations for others.

Today, I help bring weddings, milestone birthdays, baby showers, intimate dinners, and other special occasions to life. My services range from full and partial planning to event design, décor styling and setup, and day-of coordination. With a background in client service, events, and logistics, I enjoy both the creative details and the behind-the-scenes planning that helps everything come together.

My style is thoughtful, elegant, and full of personality. I love a beautiful tablescape and a touch of whimsy, but it all starts with you: what you love, who you’re celebrating, and how you want the day to feel. Whether you have a folder full of inspiration or just the beginnings of an idea, we’ll work together to create something that feels like you and makes sense for your budget.

Requirements vary depending on the services and décor you choose. We’ll review the details together before booking so everyone knows what’s needed.

• Venue access: Please share the venue’s setup and breakdown windows, parking or loading instructions, and any stairs or elevator access. Setup time will depend on the size and complexity of your event.

• Décor setup: Tables, chairs, and the agreed floor plan should be in place before styling begins. Client-provided decorations should be on-site, unpacked or organized as agreed, and ready for setup.

• Venue guidelines: Please provide any restrictions on candles, hanging decorations, wall attachments, balloons, or outside vendors so we can plan accordingly.

• Power and outdoor setups: Access to electrical outlets may be needed for select décor elements or setup equipment. Outdoor décor requires a suitable, stable surface and an agreed weather backup plan.

• Coordination: For coordination services, I’ll need your vendor contacts, event schedule, and relevant venue information in advance.

• Staffing and breakdown: Larger installations, short setup windows, or ceremony-to-reception transitions may require additional assistants. Staffing, breakdown, and rental returns will be discussed in advance and included in the proposal when applicable.
