I am a classically trained cellist currently pursuing a Masters degree in Cello Performance with professional experience ranging from symphony concerts to weddings to rock shows. I can provide music to fit a variety of environments as well as take special requests. I have a network of musicians that I can collaborate with to provide just the right ensemble for your event.

Elijah White is a lively cellist from Asheville, North Carolina. He has played with orchestras such as the Greensboro Symphony, Winston-Salem Symphony, and Western Piedmont Symphony. Elijah also played a series of concerts in Austria as a member of the 2024 AIMS Festival Orchestra. He has attended the Brevard Summer Festival where he studied with Benjamin Karp and the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival. In 2023, Elijah won 3rd prize in the Tennessee Cello Workshop young professionals concerto competition. where he played in recital as a soloist. In addition to his classical background, Elijah played with artists such as the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Natalie Merchant, and the Jeans N' Classics.
Beyond the cello, Elijah is fascinated by music theory, history, and the recording recording arts. Outside of music, he likes playing with his cats, speaking German, hiking, and baking. Elijah holds a Master's in Cello Performance from the University of Denver, where he studied with Matthew Zalkind and Meta Weiss, as well as a Bachelor's in Cello Performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where he studied with Brooks Whitehouse.
