I started playing the bagpipes at age six, and twenty five years later I am still learning new tunes and enjoy offering events the unique ambience that only a bagpipe can bring. I am based in Washington, DC, and available throughout Maryland, Virginia, and the broader Mid-Atlantic, especially for weekend and evening engagements.
Beyond the great Highland bagpipes, I also play the Scottish smallpipes, border pipes, Irish flute, whistle, and uilleann pipes. From weddings to memorial services to birthday parties, I will work with you to choose the right tunes and instrument for your event. I guarantee prompt communication, punctual arrival, and a polished performance tailored to your event.

Eli went above and beyond to make our July 4 celebration a wonderful event. When our go-to pipes and drums band had to bow out due to the impending heat, I found Eli on Gigsalad. He responded very quickly and was clear and communicative throughout the last-minute planning process. He is very professional and a joy to work with.
Eli was also able to coordinate a duo to perform as part of our program. Eli and award-winning musician Kevin Elam, performed two sets of Scottish and Appalachian songs later in the day! They were the highlight of our celebration. We will certainly call on Eli and his colleagues again.
