What to expect
When you hire Graham Fandrei, you get more than a singer. You get a polished, engaging performer who understands how to read a room and shape an experience.
As a self-described “neocrooner” and classically trained baritone, Graham bridges the worlds of timeless standards and grand concert repertoire. Audiences can expect rich, warm vocals delivered with clarity, charm, and a strong sense of storytelling. Whether performing Sinatra-style classics, Broadway favorites, sacred masterworks, patriotic selections, or operatic highlights, he brings the same level of artistry and professionalism to every setting.
For retirement communities and intimate gatherings, expect warmth, humor, and connection. Graham interacts naturally with audiences, introduces songs with context and light storytelling, and creates a shared musical moment rather than simply “running through a set.”
For corporate events and private parties, expect sophistication and flexibility. Sets can range from elegant background standards to featured spotlight performances. He can tailor programming to a theme, holiday, era, or guest of honor.
For concert halls, fundraisers, and formal programs, expect a refined classical sound backed by conservatory-level training and extensive symphonic experience. Opera arias, Broadway showstoppers, and crossover favorites can be seamlessly woven into one cohesive program.
Clients can expect:
• Professional communication and punctuality
• Flexible programming tailored to the audience
• High-quality tracks or collaboration with live accompanists
• Clear sound setup requirements
• A performer who understands pacing, flow, and audience engagement
Whether the goal is nostalgia, elegance, inspiration, or celebration, Graham delivers a performance that feels both elevated and accessible. The result is music that connects across generations and leaves audiences feeling something real.
About
Graham Fandrei is a Belizean-American baritone with national and international credits spanning Broadway, opera, symphony, jazz orchestra, and cabaret performance. A classically trained singer with a warm, expressive sound and an engaging stage presence, Graham brings both elegance and personality to every event.
He appeared on Broadway in Baz Luhrmann’s production of La Bohème and has performed leading and supporting roles with companies including Florida Grand Opera, Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Miami Lyric Opera, Knoxville Opera, and Opera Naples. His concert appearances include guest soloist performances with the Naples Philharmonic, Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Concert Chorale, and the Grammy-nominated ensemble Seraphic Fire.
In addition to his operatic work, Graham has performed principal roles in South Pacific, On the Town, and Fiddler on the Roof with symphony orchestras and jazz ensembles, and has presented tribute programs featuring the Great American Songbook, Broadway classics, sacred masterworks, and patriotic favorites. He is equally at home performing Faure’s Requiem and Carmina Burana as he is singing Cole Porter or a Sinatra standard.
A graduate of the New England Conservatory and an alumnus of The Juilliard School, Graham combines conservatory-level musicianship with an approachable, audience-centered style. His performances are polished, heartfelt, and tailored to the occasion, whether for private events, retirement communities, corporate gatherings, patriotic celebrations, fundraisers, or concert stages.
Beyond performing, Graham has served in artistic leadership roles and has created opera productions internationally, giving him a deep understanding of programming, pacing, and audience engagement. When you hire Graham, you are not simply booking a singer. You are engaging a seasoned performer who knows how to connect with a room and create a memorable experience.
Additional booking notes
Graham has performed in a wide range of environments, from intimate 15-person living rooms to nationally televised events in stadium settings. He is highly adaptable and comfortable scaling production up or down depending on the event.
That said, for the best audience experience, professional sound and lighting support is preferred whenever possible.
Sound
For mid-sized to large events, a professional PA system with an experienced sound technician is ideal. Requirements typically include:
• One high-quality vocal microphone (wireless preferred)
• Mic stand (if desired for certain repertoire)
• Monitor speaker
• Aux or Bluetooth input for backing tracks
• Basic sound check prior to performance
For smaller gatherings, Graham can provide a professional portable sound system if requested. This works well for private homes, retirement communities, and small event spaces.
Lighting
Standard room lighting is often sufficient for smaller venues. For formal events or stage performances, simple front lighting is recommended. No elaborate theatrical lighting is required unless part of a larger production.
Accompaniment
Graham enjoys collaborating with live musicians whenever possible. A tuned acoustic piano and pianist are always welcome and elevate the experience.
He also performs with high-quality professional backing tracks when a pianist is not available. If needed, he can assist in coordinating a professional accompanist for the event.
Space Requirements
• Performance area of approximately 6' x 6' minimum
• Access to one standard power outlet
• Quiet environment during performance
Outdoor Events
• Covered or shaded performance area preferred
• Access to power
• Weather contingency plan recommended
Setup
• 30–45 minutes for setup and sound check
• 15–30 minutes for breakdown
Above all, Graham works collaboratively with event planners, venue staff, and technical teams to ensure a smooth, polished experience. Whether performing in a private salon setting or a large-scale production, he brings the same level of professionalism and preparation.
