Elaina Canchita Music

Elaina has a repertoire of several hundred popular songs, as well as a speciality in Brazilian bossa novas. She can accept requests during the show as well as ahead of time.

Elaina’s goal in life is to provide audiences with memorable moments of fun and festivity through music, song, and maybe some tomfoolery here and there. She has been performing in the dueling piano format since 2009, following a decade-long career of music directing and vocal coaching for musical theatre productions on the road and in NYC. Starting out at the piano bar Howl at the Moon in Chicago, she worked her way through the HATM locations in Louisville and Indianapolis before landing back in her hometown of Philadelphia. Besides Howl at the Moon, you might find Elaina performing at other venues nearby- check the events calendar for dates and locations. Besides dueling pianos, Elaina is a children’s music educator with a Master of Music Education and a certified Music Together teacher. She also loves to play bossa nova music from Brazil, her place of birth.
