I play popular songs on piano or bring my keyboard and play old classics, like Fly Me to the Moon, I left My Heart in San Francisco, and Misty. I also play songs from movies and Broadway plays, like Can You Feel the Love Tonight, Over the Rainbow, As Time Goes By, etc. I do not play classical music. People ask if I sing. No, I am not a singer. Just popular background piano music to complement lunches, dinner, happy hour or special events.
I've been playing piano gigs mostly at assisted living facilities, and as a volunteer at the Willowbrook Methodist Hospital for more than ten years. I also play private parties and special events that want background music.
I don't have any technical requirements unless I bring my keyboard. Then all I need is a nearby electric outlet.

Musical influences are from popular songs, old standards, songs from movies and Broadway. I do not play classical music. Just older popular music from artists such as Elvis, Sinatra, The Beatles, Elton John, Ray Charles, Johnny Mathis, and Andrew Lloyd Weber. I also have some Christian songs I can mix into the play list.
