What to expect
Eduardo Lis is a professional drummer, percussionist and educator who will play a good groove solo or make your guests play group drumming and have fun. He can also bring a band for your party.
He plays acoustic drums and percussion instruments like cajon and djembe if the venue is too small for drum set. For large events he will bring drums for everyone! He also lectures and demonstrates drumming of different cultures.
He can provide your event with a solo drum act, an acoustic duo (Brian and Ed Rock and Pop), a Classic Rock Trio or a full band (rock or jazz).
About
Eduardo Lis is an educator, music teacher, drummer, percussionist and composer born in Argentina. He lived in Canada, where he played among others at the Montreal and Toronto Jazz Festivals.
Eduardo graduated with a BFA and MA in Ethnomusicology and jazz studies from York University in Toronto. He was the leader of the Latino Jazz Project and Aconcagua Latin-Jazz, both with CDs and performances at jazz festivals and venues.
He now lives in South Florida with his family. He is the founder of All Together Drum! an Interactive Drum Circle experience for all ages. ((link hidden)) Ed won awards from the Broward Cultural Division and the Broward Education Foundation. Eduardo takes his drum circle to weekend parties and camps (summer, winter, spring) and is a facilitator for Remo's HealthRhythms. He also freelances playing Classic Rock, Brazilian, R&B, Reggae and Jazz in South Florida. He has been teaching music for over 22 years, currently at Fox Trail Public School in Broward County.

Eduardo can learn new songs with ease and plays fluently many styles. He has a wide repertoire of classic rock, R & B, jazz, Brazilian and Latin music.
Influences and inspiration
My interactive drum circle activities inspired by KALANI, WALTER HULL and other teachers and performers over the years.
My drumming and percussion is inspired by the jazz greats (Max Roach, Roy Haynes, Tony Williams, etc.) and many other players and teachers (Gary Chaffee, Dave Weckl, Peter Erskine, Danny Gottlieb, Joel Rossenblat, Duduka da Fonseca, Airto, Alex Acuna, etc.)
Setup requirements
For Drum Circle need an open space and some chairs.
