When you come to my show, expect me to do some Original songs and cover songs. I will be singing live. Depending on the theme of the show, I may perform with a Live band. Depending on the show, i may sing with my guitar or sing with my Piano. I may also perform with live backing track as the case may be.
Expect some soulful singing, expect some dancing and jumping around. Expect to see a great performer on stage entertaining the audience.
Finalist spots in multiple songwriting and vocal competitions, collaboration with top Canadian and International artists including Juno-nominee and mega producer Rich Kidd: the stars are aligning above cross-genre artist Ebedoz much like they did that one magical night years ago, when the vision of his boyhood friends playing under Africa’s endless sky compelled him to pick up a pen and launch his musical journey. Yet, despite the many obstacles along the road, Nigerian-born Ebedoz has not only maintained but grown his deep humanity and joyful message of acceptance and personal pride, living up to his name’s meaning: king’s compassion. At once soothing and energetic, a hypnotizing blend of Afrobeat, classic West African roots, Afropop, R&B; and more, Ebedoz’s music has had growing audiences swaying at leading festivals nationwide, including Canadian Music Week, Afrofest and AfroBeat Festival in Toronto.
Ebedoz admits his love for music and started to participate in international competitions, performing on international level festival which have given him opportunity to work with and share the stage with International Artists including Stoneboy, Davido and PSquare. Today, his music continues to be shaped by an array of musical genres including cultural Nigerian music, Afrobeat,Reggae, Highlife, Hiphop and Soul. His songs have been placed at tv shows such as Keeping Up With The Kadashians, MTV Real World and Bad Girls Club.
Ebedoz took us by tempest when he released EBEDOZ EP which has been said to be one of top hits and created buzz around websites, TV stations and youtube, gaining press recognition from Canada, US, Europe, Africa and Australia. Ebedoz is almost set to release a Abundance which will hit the airwaves in the end 2016.
Depending on the theme of the show , I may require just a microphone if I am singing with a backing instrumental. I will also require a guitar or keyboard outlet. If it is a loud show and I am working with my life band, then we will need the standard requirement for Drums, bass, and guitar setup.
