Duck, Duck, Magic! is the magic entertainment business of Tony Ducklow, a magician and mentalist based in Maple Grove, Minnesota, serving Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the Twin Cities area. Tony combines sleight of hand, visual magic, mind reading, predictions, clean comedy, and audience participation. His performances bring people together through laughter, surprise, and impossible moments that happen right in front of them.

Tony has more than 20 years of experience entertaining audiences. His magic is available for corporate events, private parties, weddings, milestone birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, churches, schools, camps, youth events, conferences, holiday parties, fundraisers, and community gatherings.

Walk-around magic, also called strolling magic, mingling magic, or close-up magic, happens among your guests. Tony moves through the room and performs short sets for small groups. Guests might choose a card, make a decision, or experience a mind-reading moment with the magic happening just inches away, sometimes right in their hands.

Individual sets typically last about 5–10 minutes. This format works well during guest arrival, cocktail hours, wedding receptions, corporate functions, dinner transitions, and other social portions of an event. People can experience the magic without everyone stopping to watch a full stage show.

Close-up magic creates conversation starters as friends and coworkers react together. Coverage time and the approach for your group are confirmed when planning the booking.

CAN YOU COMBINE A STAGE SHOW AND CLOSE-UP MAGIC?

Yes. A combined package includes mingling magic during the social portions of the event and an interactive show for the whole group. For example, Tony can entertain small groups during a company party's cocktail hour, then perform a 45-minute show once everyone is gathered.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAGIC AND MENTALISM?

Magic includes effects such as objects appearing, disappearing, transforming, or ending up somewhere unexpected. Mentalism focuses on apparent mind reading, predictions, and surprising connections between people's thoughts and choices. Tony combines both in his performances, giving audiences visual surprises alongside moments that leave them wondering how he knew what someone was thinking.

WHAT KINDS OF TRICKS MIGHT GUESTS SEE?

Tony's repertoire includes a signed Rubik's cube appearing inside a bottle, a borrowed bill appearing inside an orange, mind-reading routines, and a levitation involving an audience volunteer.

This add-on requires advance planning and approximately 15 minutes of rehearsal earlier in the day. Availability and suitability are confirmed for the venue and event.
