Overview

I play big band, swing, instrumental pop and contemporary jazz from the past 70 years on my drums by removing the original drum tracks and adding my live drums to the original classics!. In other words, karaoke, drum style!

Artists I play include Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Henry Mancini, Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass, Wes Montgomery, Dave Brubeck, Erroll Garner, Spyro Gyra, Peter White and more. I can also play Hawaiian music and classic TV themes for more fun! Ideal for parties or events for seniors, quiet celebrations, birthdays, or as simple background music.

About

Thank you for visiting my GigSalad page. My name is Jeff and I've been drumming for nearly 25 years. I've played in several classic rock bands, but my real love is Jazz and Swing. In 2024, I decided to focus strictly on these genre's, and the people who particularly enjoy them: the 70+ crowd.

So I put together a music library of 60+ songs, ranging from Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman to Henry Mancini and Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass to Dave Brubeck and Spyro Gyra, and developed, what you might call, a "karaoke with drums" act. I've removed all drums tracks from each song that had them, and I add my drums live to the original music. I also know a few Hawaiian tunes and over 20 classic TV theme songs for additional fun! I currently play regularly at local senior independent living, assisted living, and memory care facilities.

My act is also ideal for senior birthday parties and anniversaries, or just as background music for casual get togethers. And everything in between! Contact me if this is something you're looking for!
