Hello! My name is Drew Olsen. The foundation of my performance is guitar and vocals but I create a more unique soundscape by adding foot percussion, beatbox/guitar loops and a harmony pedal! I sound like more than one person! I can play a large catalog of songs from older classics like Elvis and The Beatles, up to new artists like Imagine Dragons and Justin Bieber. I can build a set list for any occasion and I'm willing to learn new material to tailor a unique experience for you! :) I'm personable and responsible and very much look forward to helping make your event a success!

October 29, 2023I had the pleasure of working with Drew, the solo guitarist and vocal perform, at my child's 1st birthday event, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! His musical talent and beautiful voice added a magical touch to the celebration. The music selection was perfect, and his performance was both engaging and heartwarming. I highly recommend this talented musician for any event. Five stars all the way!

Not only is he an awesome musician who can take requests and learn new songs on the fly, but his “on stage” banter was so easy, free flowing and warm. We really felt like we got to enjoy a high quality private concert, which is pretty amazing as we hired him for a 50th birthday party!

I have all of my own equipment and take up very little space. I have a single PA speaker that I put up on a stand, an iPad for music (also helps me take request), a mic stand, my guitar and a few foot pedals. That's it!
I sound like a larger band than one person but I feel comfortable scaling back to being appropriate for the setting - be that a cocktail hour at a wedding or a restaurant/bar filled with lively patrons.
I play a wide range of songs from early classics like The Beatles to more modern tracks like Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran.
I'm a New York native and very new to LA! I work in the video game industry but my passion is performing music!. I have experience performing in various restaurant/bar settings and patrons seem to genuinely enjoy my entertainment! I come from a pretty broad musical background that includes playing cello in an orchestra and playing drums in a hardcore band but at the end of the day, I enjoy sitting with my guitar and doing covers!
