December 11, 2025Drew & his band brought their A-game!
If you are looking for a live band for a wedding or live event, look no further - Drew Lafferty brings best-in-class entertainment to any type of happening. He and his band performed for the cocktail hour at our wedding. Not only did our guests rave about their performance but Chiara & I were so impressed with the band's classic crooner sound and ability to cover other types of music seamlessly. Drew and his pianist even made an extra effort to learn a new song we specifically wanted for our first dance! Again if you are having a wedding or live event in Atlanta, I would highly recommend hiring Drew & his band to perform - they will knock your socks off with their classic sound!

About
Drew Lafferty is a 26-year-old traditional mid-century pop singer based in Atlanta, GA. His two passions are music and filmmaking and his earliest memories are of listening to big bands in a local park with his Mom and falling in love with the sounds of Sinatra, Martin, and MacFarlane!
When Drew was only three, his Dad passed away and left a huge hole in the heart of his family. Since Drew's Dad was a music teacher during his life, his Mom thought the best way for Drew to combat the loss would be to immerse him in music. During his childhood, his Mom would take him to local parks to listen to jazz bands play. The mesmerizing sounds Drew heard inspired him to use his allowance to proudly purchase his first album, Big Band Swing by The Swingfield Big Band.
It wasn't until the end of high school that Drew was encouraged by his teachers to pursue singing. Drew sang in his car and any venue that would let him: like open mics and local coffee shops. By the time he left for college, He had developed a crowd of local fans. As a freshman, he got the rare opportunity to join the campus Jazz Ensemble as their male vocalist. Even though Drew's major was in film, he spent the weekends of his first year performing at restaurants to help pay for college expenses. By his sophomore year, Drew had organized a band of his friends that loved jazz as much as he, producing his first live concert. It was a hour and a half event with 28 instrumentalists and 4 guest vocalists which brought in a crowd of over 250 people. Each year, Drew and his band performed as an act at the university's coffeehouse events, attaining both the opening and closing act spots.
After graduating, Drew has been booked to perform at weddings, coffee shops and restaurants, as the house band for a late night variety show as well as the main event for a jazz night attended by a crowd of over 300.
Drew has performed for crowds of up to 14,000 people and continues to endear audiences to himself with his quick wit and smooth vocals. Most recently, Drew wrote and recorded a song for the feature film, "Warehouse: One Step Away from a Bad Forever."
Currently, Drew frequents the various jazz and supper club scenes in ATL and performs at weddings, jam sessions, and open mics. He is also beginning to write more original tunes using his background in music as inspiration. Keep up to date with him on social media and your favorite streaming platform to find out what he's up to now!
