I play classic hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and today. My music range is from classic rock, country, disco, as well as modern hits. I have a wide vocal range singing hits from Johnny Cash to journey. I sing the songs that everybody loves to sing along to.

I tried to taylor my set list to the expected audience. If I’m playing for older people, I don’t play a lot of 90s stuff. If I’m playing for people in their 30s and 40s, I try to play some more up-to-date songs. Regardless, my set list is filled with the greatest hits. I rarely play deep tracks unless they’re specifically requested. I am mindful of volume and quick to ask if I am too loud. That is not my goal. My goal is merely to keep people in the venue and keep them entertained. I can play small areas and only need about a 4’ x 4’ footprint to set up if need be.
Dr. Ike is a well known musician who has been performing in the area for more than 30 years. Whether it be solo or playing with bands such as Tongue N Groove or Big Red Deluxe, he has the ability to cover music by artists from Joe Cocker and Johnny Cash to AC/DC and Journey, with some surprises in between. The good doctor has had the opportunity to open for internationally renowned acts like The Guess Who, Eddie Money, and Jefferson Starship. We hope his experience and musical diversity will have something for everybody.
My Sound equipment is tailored more towards small outdoor events or intimate indoor events. However, I have Hawaii wide variety of Sound reinforcement equipment that I can bring. I have one rack of lights that I typically bring with me and as long as I have one outlet nearby, I should be fine.
