What to expect
Dr. Boogie is available for ambient performance, as well as stage performance or workshop classes.
Ambient performance is typical for most event and venues. This consists of Dr. Boogie roaming around the event goers, usually on stilts or with LED props, dancing and interacting with the crowd.
Fire performance has specific space needs for safety, as well as needs for a fire safety handler (which can be provided by the performer). Each fire performance last 3-5 mins, and Dr. Boogie can provide three different fire tools, that can be performed in a row, before needing a 10 min rest to allow the props to cool.
Aerial acts have very special needs (whether ambient or stage acts). Please contact the performer to discuss specifics.
About
Dr. Boogie has been performing as a circus artist and samba dancer for several years. She started with partnered swing and blues dancing, then performed with the Austin Samba school for 4 years. After leaving the school, she began learning circus and fire arts, and has been obsessed with them ever since.
