June 4, 2024The Downhillers were great to work with! Bob was professional yet personal. The band was everything we could have imagined for a relaxing and beautiful night for our first Music on the Patio event for the season!
All who were in attendance had nothing but good things to say! They loved the harmonies of the Downhillers and wanted them to play longer! Looking forward to working with them again!

On the day of the gig, we arrive 2 1/2 hours before our start time. We set up all our gear, tune instruments and do a sound check. We have a track record of starting on time. If requested, we will share a set list with a customer. At the end of our show, we pack up our gear and hopefully leave nothing but memory of great songs.
The Downhillers is a Naperville based, acoustic harmony band that can bring an upbeat acoustic vibe to private parties and corporate events, outdoor festivals and farmer’s markets, senior facilities and church halls, restaurants and brew pubs – just about any casual venue where people are socializing and looking to enjoy life.
The Band loves to play the music we grew up with (think Eagles, Simon and Garfunkel, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Doobie Brothers, Linda Rondstat, etc.) but our song list goes well beyond 60’s and 70’s pop and includes selections from across multiple genres like folk, indie, pop, bluegrass, country and Americana. Acoustic guitars, banjo, mandolin, bass, and our trademark vocal harmony deliver the songs and sounds you will enjoy.
We have all the gear to meet your sound requirements for any venue, small or large.
