Noah Nipp is an active upright and electric bassist, composer, arranger, and teacher in the Miami area. After picking up the electric bass when he was thirteen, Noah spent his time playing in church and his high school guitar ensemble. He has been able to study with fantastic teachers such as Regan Brough, Victor Provost, Shawn Purcell, Zack Pride, and legendary DC bassist Steve Novosel. He moved to Fairfax, Virginia in 2017 to begin his studies at George Mason University. At Mason, Noah performed in the Mason Jazz Ensemble, combos. the Latin American Ensemble, and Mason Symphony Orchestra. In May of 2021, Noah graduated with his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from George Mason University, and relocated to Miami in July 2021.

Since being in Miami, Noah has gotten to play at most of the major jazz venues in the area, such as Lagniappe, the Anderson, the Greystone Hotel, Melinda's, Glass and Vine, and the Cleat. For the first half of 2022, he performed regularly at the Icebox Cafe, leading a piano trio every other week. South Florida has also given him the opportunity to perform regularly at beautiful hotels such as the Four Seasons Palm Beach, the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, the St Regis, and others. In August 2022, he held a jam session residency at Gramps with the Soul Vaccinators- a funky, soul jazz trio he plays with.
