Response from Dorothy Zerbe:
Ditto on this - the audience/personnel at Lisa Jaeger's venue were really fun, and participated fully in singing along on many of the songs. I enjoyed the fact that Lisa requested a certain genre of song, "old country" and specifically, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson......etc. It spurred me on to learn a lot of new songs for the event, and everyone responded so enthusiastically. They laughed at my jokes and especially warmed up to the songs I had written about my Granddaddy and the song about the banjo player. I'll definitely make an effort to go back here.
Dorothy played a 3 hour acoustic set in our upscale-casual restaurant. Her voice is beautiful and full of heart. She alternated between playing guitar, ukulele, & keyboard throughout the show. That was really amazing. She is a versed entertainer, very professional, and an absolute crowd pleaser. We can't wait to have her back!
