Dorothy Zerbe, a singer-songwriter and RN, relates well to people of all ages. She writes vigorous songs of love and tenderness. With a keen awareness for who her audience is, she can get people singing and clapping along with songs they know, and then wow them with a beautiful ballad she wrote about her children. Dorothy sings at coffeehouses, cafes, folk festivals, private parties, nursing homes, daycare centers, weddings, funerals or baptisms. Dorothy also performs songs from the 20's, 30's and 40's with piano accompaniment. Offering vocals, ukulele, guitar, piano, some organ, melodica, and an occasional kazoo, Dorothy will be sure to please your audience of any age.

Ditto on this - the audience/personnel at Lisa Jaeger's venue were really fun, and participated fully in singing along on many of the songs. I enjoyed the fact that Lisa requested a certain genre of song, "old country" and specifically, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson......etc. It spurred me on to learn a lot of new songs for the event, and everyone responded so enthusiastically. They laughed at my jokes and especially warmed up to the songs I had written about my Granddaddy and the song about the banjo player. I'll definitely make an effort to go back here.

April 25, 2016Dorothy played a 3 hour acoustic set in our upscale-casual restaurant. Her voice is beautiful and full of heart. She alternated between playing guitar, ukulele, & keyboard throughout the show. That was really amazing. She is a versed entertainer, very professional, and an absolute crowd pleaser. We can't wait to have her back!
