DOREIDA is a trained professional in areas of Solo Performing, Orchestral and Chamber Music, Teaching, Conducting, and with an extensive Concertmaster Experience.
Doreida is currently serving as Associate Concertmaster of Waco Symphony Orchestra. She also performs with several other orchestras of Metroplex, such as Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Opera, Wichita Falls Symphony, East Texas Symphony Orchestra, Texas Chamber Orchestra, San Angelo Symphony Orchestra, Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra and Shreveport Symphony Orchestra.
Doreida has served as Concertmaster of TCU Symphony Orchestra and Conservatory of Athens, Greece. She is the Concertmaster of CCBC Orchestra in Fort Worth.

Doreida and her trio provided the music for our daughter's wedding. The string trio added such a touch of class to the wedding and the reception cocktail hour and made the event even more magical. Doreida is easy to work with, offering suggestions when we were uncertain as to what music to use for the preludes, processional and lighting of the unity candle. She has a large repertoire of music, from which she offered suggestions tailored to meet our needs. We had very little to worry about as far as making decisions, as she has done this a long time. She knows exactly what to play, and when. I highly recommend her trio

We had an event at our country club in which we hired Doreida. Guests we thrilled with her talent, professionalism, and demeanor. Should we hold another event that include a violinist, she would be the one we would engage again.

Words cannot express how beautifully Doreida played her violin at my granddaughter’s wedding. It was an outdoor wedding and I wasn’t sure if everyone would be able to hear the music, but it was fabulous and so many friends commented on how lovely it was. We loved having her and she was amazing to work with. Thank you!

Doreida did such a wonderful job with such short notice at our wedding ceremony. The time had changed and I gave her songs last minute and she nailed then all on the head! A lot of people dont want to worry about the vendors on their wedding day. Doreida showed up on time, already knew exactly what to do! We could have asked for a better violinist for our wedding!

About
Doreida has been a member of several Greek orchestras, such as National Lyric Opera, Orchestra of Piraeus and Orchestra of Colors, that have performed in some of the most prestigious European Halls.
DOREIDA ALEKSI is trained in areas of Solo Performing, Chamber Music, Teaching, Conducting, and with an extensive Concert-mistress Experience.
Doreida is currently serving as Associate Concertmaster of Waco Symphony Orchestra. She also performs with several other orchestras of Metroplex, such as Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, East Texas Symphony Orchestra, Wichita Falls Symphony, Garland/Las Collinas/Arlington Symphony Orchestra, Shreveport Symphony Orchestra, Texas Chamber Orchestra and San Angelo Symphony Orchestra.
Doreida has served as Concert-mistress of TCU Symphony Orchestra and Conservatory of Athens, Greece. Now she is a Concert-mistress of CCBC Orchestra in Fort Worth. A graduate of Academy of Fine Arts of Tirana, Albania, with a Diploma in Violin/Musicology, she got her Certificate of Completion in Violin Performance from the Conservatory of Athens, Greece, and a MM in Violin Performance and a MM in Theory- Composition from Texas Christian University.
Some of her violin teachers include Didi Tartari, Tatsis Apostolidis, Curt Thompson and Jan Mark Sloman. She has had conducting training with Miguel Harth-Bedoya and FWSO, and conducting classes from Dr. German Gutierrez, conductor of TCU Symphony Orchestra.
The past 9 years Doreida was a FWISD orchestra director and has served as a group leader and trainer for FWISD. She has a UIL proven record of accomplishments in Secondary School Orchestra Conducting, consistently winning Sweepstake Awards. She has served as Theory/Ear-Training Instructor for Texas Christian University and traditional & Suzuki Violin Instructor for the Youth Orchestra of Greater Fort Worth.
Doreida has an active violin private studio. Her students have been consistently members of region orchestras and have won UIL honors rating. Today many of her students are pursuing a career in Music.
Doreida speaks three languages, Albanian, Greek and English.
