Have you ever been bullied or know anyone who has? I have. I am one who has learned from having been bullied. Let me share my experiences in ways that can help you, the way it has helped me.
I am an anti-bullying/awareness advocate as well as inspirational speaker and poet. I have spoken to audiences as small as 10 and as large as 1,000. I was bullied throughout my childhood and it is now my mission to put a stop to the bullying epidemic and make sure no more children have to suffer in silence.

My name is Dori Crescas. I'm 38 years old. I've always loved to write and I'm excited to have found a way to give my writing a purpose. Every speech I write comes from the heart and from personal experience. I was bullied as a child throughout school and even as an adult in the workplace. Writing was always my escape. Bullying does not end once you graduate.
One of my articles on anti-bullying appears on the Hero campaign webpage for the Utterly Global Youth Empowerment foundation. I have also been featured in the monthly newsletter for the Brahma Kumaris foundation with an article I wrote entitled "My Journey to Happiness."
My mission is to stop the bullying epidemic through awareness and giving others a voice through inspiration.
I have spoken about a variety of awareness issues at many organizations such as the Suffolk County Association of Municipal Employees (SCAME), & The Children's Corner Day Care Center. I have also spoken in Central Park as part of an event for the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center. I am comfortable speaking to any age group and enjoy speaking to many different groups from many diversities.
My biggest inspiration is Iyanla VanZant. It's one of my dreams to meet her one day. She faced amazing adversity in her life and still managed to come out on top. She is a true inspiration to me.
