We're a newer Calgary-based band, but we bring the same passion and excitement to every performance. Our goal isn't just to play songs we want to create a fun experience where the audience feels involved, connected, and leaves with a smile on their face.

Expect a mix of original music and pop-punk, punk, and emo favorites, with an energetic performance style inspired by the bands that made us fall in love with music in the first place. We enjoy interacting with the crowd, having fun on stage, and bringing a sense of personality and excitement to every event.

As a growing band, we are constantly learning, improving, and pushing ourselves to become better performers. We show up prepared, bring a positive attitude, and are excited for every opportunity to share our music with new audiences.

Don't Die Wandering is a new pop-punk band from Calgary, Alberta, built on a love of loud guitars, catchy choruses, and having a great time with every audience we play for.

The band started with Dylan and a friend playing a handful of local open mic nights just for fun. What began as a casual way to share music quickly grew into something they wanted to take further, leading to the creation of Don't Die Wandering.

As the project evolved, the original drummer stepped away to focus on other priorities. Instead of calling it quits, Dylan kept the band moving forward, teaming up with talented musicians Warren on bass and co-lead vocals, and Adam on drums. Together, the three of us are excited to build something special and continue growing with every performance.

We're a new band, and we're proud of that. While we have experience performing and making music, we're still learning, improving, and finding our place in the local scene. Every show is an opportunity to become better musicians, stronger performers, and create great memories with the people who come out to see us.

Whether we're playing our original songs or mixing in pop-punk, punk, and emo covers, our goal is simple: show up, have fun, spread good vibes, and make sure everyone leaves with a smile on their face. We love interacting with the crowd, laughing between songs, and creating an energetic atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.

Based in Calgary, we're happy to travel throughout Alberta, including anywhere between Calgary and Edmonton.

Equipment

We don't currently own a full professional PA and lighting system, but we're happy to work with venues that provide sound or arrange rental equipment when needed to make sure your event runs smoothly.

Because we're a newer band, the videos currently on our profile are from the project's earliest days when it was just Dylan and a friend playing open mic nights. They show where we started, but they don't represent our current lineup, sound, or the direction we're heading. As we continue playing more shows, we'll be updating our profile with new live performances featuring the full band.

If you're looking for a group of musicians who are dependable, easy to work with, passionate about what they do, and ready to bring plenty of energy to your event, we'd love the opportunity to play for you. We may be new, but we'll always give every performance everything we've got.

As a newer band, we are currently in the process of building our own equipment setup. At this time, we do not own a full stage-capable PA or sound system suitable for larger venues or professional events. Our current setup is better suited for smaller, more casual environments such as backyard shows, house parties, or similar low-key events.

For venue performances and larger events, we are happy to arrange rentals for the necessary equipment to ensure we can provide a quality live performance. If the venue already has some of the required equipment available, we are more than willing to work with the existing setup and rent only what is needed to complete our requirements.

Lighting is not included as part of our band's equipment responsibilities and would need to be provided by the venue or event organizer if desired.

We are flexible, easy to work with, and willing to coordinate with venues to create the best possible setup for each performance.
