We could not have been happier! Don worked with our daughter to choose music they both thought appropriate for her wedding in a small quaint VT church. He even took the time to learn a particular song she wanted. Since Don also played during cocktail hour before the reception, he took time to set up at the reception location prior to the church ceremony and they were 30 mins apart. Don was very pleasant and easy to work with. He even invited us to his house to discuss the musical arrangement for our ceremony. He knew exactly what to play once we let him know our preferences. He showed up at the wedding place on time (very early actually) to make sure everything was going to be set up properly. We had our ceremony outside, and our cocktail hour inside, so he wanted to make sure both his PA systems were setup and ready in both locations. Being a musician myself, I felt Don's guitar playing was outstanding and professional. Everyone at our wedding commented on his performance. Couldn't be better. Don was very accomodating when we were selecting musicians, after we hired him, and on out wedding day. Not only did Don take the time to play some songs over the phone, he invited up to his home to hear his music on person. On the day Don arrived early, and played beautifully. We were very fortunate to find Don for our wedding ceremony. We had exactly 2 weeks to throw everything together and thought we would have to compromise on a quality musician to accomodate our request. Not true! Don was prompt in his reply and was very professional in his repore but most importantly is a very good musician. We wanted someone who could play classical and contemporary music, it was alot to ask of a musician, but he did both beautifully. We also dumped the burden of song choice on his lap and not only were we very satisfied with his choice of songs but we were very satisfied with his musicianship. In addition, his performance was tireless- he continued to play for the entire three hour period with only a couple of very short breaks. Don was amazing! I wanted a specific song for my bridal procession and he took the time to learn it perfectly. He was very professional at the wedding, but perhaps more importantly he was always very prompt and helpful in all our communications prior to the event. That was definitely helpful to a nervous bride :). His song selections during the cocktail hour were wonderful, and many guests complimented his talent. We can’t say enough about how happy we were with Don at our wedding! We booked him based on the reviews on Gigmasters and the music on his site, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. He was the consummate professional from start to finish. Don was always prompt with answers to our questions, while providing fresh ideas and great communication in general leading up to our big day. When the day arrived, Don was there early, even though it was a 2-hour drive for him. We did all of our own planning, and while we were running around taking care of last-minute preparations and worrying whether everything was ready, Don was a calming friend. He was set-up in two locations and dressed in his suit even before the groom was dressed! Put simply, Don removed the stress from the music portion of our day and while other aspects of the afternoon needed our attention, he required no assistance whatsoever. In addition to his professionalism, Don is also a great musician. He played our ceremony and the cocktail hour, and our guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed the music. It was absolutely perfect. Last but not least, Don is a really nice guy. Even though we met for the first time just a few hours before our wedding, Don seemed to genuinely care about us. Rather than just show up to play music, he took a sincere interest in our day. When dinner was over and he was getting ready to head home, we felt like we were saying goodbye to one of our guests and were sad that he had to leave! Bottom line -- Don is a complete professional, fantastic musician, and kind person who was an integral part of making our day so special. Don was fantastic! He was very professional and easy to work with. He accomodated all our requests and even learned a song for us. Many of our wedding guests commented on how beautiful the music was. Don's rendition of Vivaldi's Guitar Concerto, Bach's Jesu Joy, and Handel's Air from Water Music brought tears to many people's eyes (including ours!).
