My audience will see a seasoned entertainment professional who interacts with his audience in a dynamic and charismatic manner. I offer a wide vocal range and different genre styles of music. I can tailor my shows for my client's individual interests and taste. I have a very good reputation for being an engaging, warm entertainer. Easy to work with and flexible.
Don studied musical theatre, acting, speech and dance at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, and has performed professionally in New York City and major cities in the United States. He attended New York University where he received his undergraduate degree in Communications and his masters in the Arts and Humanities. Don is a dynamic and high energy performer with over 30 years experience as an entertainer. His broad range of musical genre's will excite his audience no matter the occasion. HIs musical repertoire consists of varied styles of music, primarily the classic rock and roll and pop era of the 50's 60's and 70's, as well as the American Songbook standards, along with Jazz standards and light classical sounds. Don brings to each performance a unique personality and strong singing voice along with warmth and personal engagement with his audience. In addition to his live musical performances, Don is a Screen Actors Guild member as well as a member of Actor's Equity Association.
* I am self contained with my own sound system, microphone and speakers and speaker stands
* If I perform in a venue that has lighting, sound man, stage etc., I can hook up my music to house sound
system.
* I need a table, and a stool for set up with my own equipment
* Lighting is desired, but not necessary if venue does not have it.
I do a wide variety of 50's 60's 70's 80's Pop and Rock songs (Playlists and song titles upon client request.

I started singing and entertaining when I was 11 years old, and two major musical influences at that time for me was Broadway music, folk music and 60's and 70's pop and rock music. I have a very extensive musical performance background, but I would have to say that 60's and 70's pop and rock is my favorite genre to perform. Broadway music is also a very strong passion for me. The Rock musical excited me as a young performer, and rock groups such as the Mama's and the Papa's, The Fifth Dimension, The eagles, The Carpenters, and folk rock groups such as Peter Paul and Mary, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, and Judy Collins, and Rock performers from the 70's such as Linda Rondstadt and Elton John were also strong influencers. These groups and singers mentioned are just a few of my very favorite bands and solo singers who influenced my style and interest as a performer. As a classically trained singer, I also received extensive vocal training in the classical music genre that created a strong musical foundation and core for my pop and modern musical work.
