Donny Toker Piano

Donny Toker graduated from Peabody Conservatory with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies/Piano Performance in May 2018, and a cumulative GPA of 3.86. He has studied under and/or performed with a wide range of professional jazz musicians, including Sean Jones, Tim Murphy, Gary Thomas, Michael Formanek, Kush Abadey, Paul Bollenback, Russell Kirk, Marty Ehrlich, Miles Brown, Harry Appelman, Joseph Young, Larry Willis, Wade Beach, Carl Allen, John Thomas, Joe Burgstaller and Alvin Trask. He also studied classical organ and piano. He has worked as a pianist at the Goodstone Inn in Middleburg, VA, playing piano and entertaining on the weekends. Additionally he works as a pianist every other week at Fox Hill in Bethesda, MD. He is also an assistant to Bob Murad and Kenny Rittenhouse at the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Youth Orchestra.
He is blessed with perfect pitch, and is able to improvise and play by ear. In addition to Jazz Piano Performance, he is proficient in Classical Piano, Organ, Composition and Voice.
