Don Littleton is an accomplished professional percussionist. His mastery of an enticing array of percussion instruments uniquely endows him with the finesse to span a multitude of genres. While he is an especially notable jazz percussionist, Don's versatility includes the genres of Latin Jazz, R&B and Blues. Don also takes leadership in the following bands: The Jazz Conclave Latin Soul Band; The Don Littleton Quartet; and Jambalaya Massive Reggae Band. He is often does session work for many renown musicians. Don has mastered both traditional and exotic percussion instruments, such as the Cajn (box drums), Timbales, Trap Drums, Conga, Bongo Drums, Chcaras, Claves and more.

Don Littleton is an accomplished professional percussionist. His mastery of an enticing array of percussion instruments uniquely endows him with the finesse to span a multitude of genres. While he is an especially notable jazz percussionist, Don's versatility includes the genres of Latin Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Blues, Hip-Hop, Reggae, and more. Don has mastered the art of playing both traditional and exotic percussion instruments, such as the Cajn (box drums), Timbales, Trap Drums, Conga, Bongo Drums, Chcaras, Claves, Conga, Cuca, Djembe, Shekere, to name a few.
Don Littleton began his journey into music in junior and senior high school, where his considerable talent was recognized and nurtured by all of his music instructors. He chose to attend Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he was a member of Multi-Jazz Orchestra and honed his skills under the tutelage of Alvin Batiste. While studying music at Southern University, Don was recruited by the legendary Cannonball Adderley to play with his quartet before the Louisiana Symphony. Don's mentors include such legendary musicians as Billy Higgins and Charles Lewis.
Don Littleton has performed with and/or collaborated with many renown musicians, such as Cannonball Adderly, Pharoah Saunders, Kenny Burrell, Art Davis, Eddie Harris, John Heard, Billy Childs, Ernie Andrews, Billy Higgins, Roberta Flack, Freestyle Fellowship, Solomon Burke, Derf Reklaw-Raheem, Rick Zunigar, Harper/Evans Project, David Ornette Cherry, David Dahlstein, Fred Griffin, Klique', Phil Ranelin, Scott Martin, Justo Almario, and others.
Among the many groups that Don performs with regularly are: The Estrada Brothers, Scott Martin Latin Soul Band, Dale Fielder Byrd/Pepper Project, Phil Ranelin Tribe Renaissance, David Ornette Cherry, Charles Owens Quintet, and The Blowin Smoke Band. Don also leads his own bands, such as the Don Littleton Trio, The Jazz Conclave, The Don Littleton Quartet, and Luminessence.
Don released his own cd "Collage", with his group, The Littleton Brothers, where he featured Bobby Watson.
