What to expect
Thoughtful execution of client's framing and messaging. I believe the story and message should be the most memorable aspect of a production, not the person behind the camera.
About
Jesus Villalba is a NYC-based film maker with more than 10 years experience working on community-lead media for social justice.
His previous credits include work as a research assistant and camera operator for Decade of Fire (2018), a documentary that investigates the structural policies that lead to a devastating decade of urban decadence in the South Bronx in the 70’s.
Jesus’s most recent project: “We Are Not Made of Stone” is an independently produced, multi-year, journalistic documentary about the structural health injustices of undocumented workers in New York State. The project was supported by the Pulitzer Center.
