My goal is to play the songs you and your guests love at a price point you can afford and deliver an exceptional event experience. I specialize in mixing top 40, pop, rock, disco, line dances, jazz, country, R&B/Motown, oldies, and Latin to create an atmosphere that everyone enjoys. From corporate and special life events in rental halls and restaurants (weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, holiday parties) to backyard hoedowns, house parties and everything in between, I can bring it because the party starts here.

My DJ setup not only sounds great but is classy looking. The sound system includes two 15" Mackie Thumps that can pump a steady 400w of sound and peak at 1000w. For larger, outdoor gigs I offer a couple of classic and well respected Cerwin Vega MV-15Bs powered by 400w Roland amp. The tripods for the Mackies include a couple of stylish black, lycra scrims and the DJ table and gear hide behind a black Odyssey booth. I also include a light tree that holds two Chauvet Mini Kintas and an ADJ Micro Galaxian laser light. Finally, a couple of Chauvet fog machines are available by request.
I am a veteran, having honorably served 6 years in the United States Air Force as a medic. In 1991 I graduated from the the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale where I learned audio and video production and have been providing audio and video services since. I am married 27 years to my beautiful wife and have three awesome kids. Three things to know about me: I am punctual, I am professional and I am personable. If you hire me, you are hiring a DJ who communicates, will arrive on time, will deliver a creative yet safe dance environment and seeks service excellence.
Clients need to make available to DJDean the place of performance at least 2 hours prior to scheduled performance time for the purpose of setting up and sound balancing. Also, a suitable electrical outlet must be made available.

I am an event DJ, which is different from a club DJ. My goal is not to introduce you to the music I like or impress you with my mixing skills (though the latter is pretty hot). My goal is to play the songs you and your guests want to hear. My set lists can vary greatly depending on what music genres you like. I can tell you that I specialize in mixing Top 40 (Sia, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran), Standards (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Michael Buble), Jazz (Bill Withers, George Benson, Herb Albert, Sergio Mendes), R&B/Motown/Funk (The Commodores, Earth Wind & Fire, The Temptations, The Four Tops), the 80's (Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Journey, AC/DC, Lionel Richie) , country (traditional and new from Roger Williams to Eric Church), disco (Barry White, The Bee Gees, Abba, Gloria Gaynor) and classic dance hits (The Electric Slide, Cha Cha Slide, Cupid Shuffle, The Wobble). Mix in some Latin (Pitbull, Marc Anthony, Shakira, Elvis Crespo) and hip hop (both old and new school) over these ingredients and we got ourselves a recipe for a fantastic party.
Now, with all that said, I want to play what you want to hear so if you have a request list...songs you KNOW you HAVE to hear the night of your party, then I am going to make sure they get played. Communication is key. Service is my goal. Just tell me what you want and I will make it happen.
