May 3, 2026Sammy Lee was terrific for our wedding - super easy to work with, amazingly accommodating, and a great understanding of what we were looking for for our event. He has great energy and personality, and the playlist he constructed was spot on for what we were looking for. We had a karaoke themed wedding, and he made the whole process super easy for us and our guests. We ended up running the karaoke portion nonstop through the reception, which was flawlessly run and a ton of fun for participants and bystanders alike. Despite some small timing shifts throughout the night, Sammy was super flexible, quick to pick up on adjustments on the fly, and generally great at managing the order of events over the duration of the event. Would highly recommend!

Technical Requirements:
I provide a full PA system, including high-quality speakers, wireless microphones, and a subwoofer when extra bass is needed. I also bring a complete DJ setup with all necessary gear and can include a lighting setup if requested.
Space & Power Requirements:
Setup Space: Minimum of 8x6 feet for DJ gear and speakers
Power: At least two dedicated 15-20 amp outlets, especially if lighting is involved
With this setup, I can ensure great sound, smooth MC duties, and an energetic atmosphere tailored to your event.

My biggest influences are some of the best radio, club, and wedding DJs I’ve heard over the years. DJ Pharris from Power 92 showed me how powerful great mixing can be to excite a crowd and create a completely new sound using preexisting songs. DJ Walt, a club DJ from Detroit, inspired me with his seamless mixes, curated song selection and ability to keep the dance floor packed all night. DJ Nick Spinelli’s creative mixes, song selection and MC skills pushed me to expand my own style, and DJ Jimmy O, who mentored me when I was first starting out, taught me the fundamentals of reading a crowd, mixing, and creating unforgettable moments.
