Arrival is typically anywhere between 30 minutes - 1 hour before a performance to ensure everything is running smoothly. For club shows, the music program is very aggressive. The theory behind this is to dance the crowd as hard and as long as possible, so that when they leave at the end of the night they walk away going “Wow, that was some party!”. This technique creates the buzz necessary to keep them coming back week after week.

DJ Brett Brisbois has been entertaining crowds for over 30 years, both here in Florida and up north on Long Island. Brett began DJ’ing when a neighbor who needed to borrow an amplifier introduced him to the dance music world - and he became hooked! After spending years doing private parties, this “hobby” became a career when a local night club asked him to perform weekly. Since then he has gone on to spin at the hottest night clubs, play at thousands of private parties, and even produce weekly radio shows (both live from the club and pre-recorded). He has been the opening act for national artists like The Commodores, Judy Torres, George Lamond, Amber, Reina, and many others.
In the Remix world, Brett continues to remain fresh by pushing out both official and unofficial remixes from his home studio, and these remixes can be heard in clubs / radio mix shows all over the world. His official work can be heard on all the typical platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Beatport, etc), while some of his unofficial work can be heard on Soundcloud under the id: DJ Brett Brisbois.

NOTE ON IN-HOUSE SOUND SYSTEMS:
The preferred decks would be from the Pioneer eco-system (CDJ-2000NXS2, XDJ) and their associated mixing consoles (must be able to accommodate modern USB drives prepared on Rekordbox). If you do not have the capacity for this, Brett can supply a Pioneer XDJ-RX2 which is a suitable substitute assuming you have sufficient space available in the booth (space requirement: 3’ x 2’). Output from the XDJ-RX2 is flexible, ¼ TRS / TS, XLR, RCA. A Booth monitor powerful enough to overcome ambient noise is also necessary (2-way professional full range, 12” driver is fine for most applications, must have ¼” TRS / TS or XLR input).
