I believe great DJing starts with reading the room. If the crowd is enjoying conversation over dinner, I'll create a soundtrack that complements the moment. If people are ready to dance, I'll happily take things up a notch. My sets wander comfortably from oldies, soul, and classic rock to current hits, with plenty of genre-bending stops in between.

I'm professional, punctual, and adaptable. I'm just as comfortable being background ambiance as I am grabbing the microphone and interacting with guests. Requests are always welcome, and if I can make them work, I usually do.

My ideal audience? The funny aunts and uncles who have great stories, questionable dance moves, and the confidence to request a song nobody else thought of but everyone ends up loving.

Instead of buying a sports car, I bought DJ equipment.

What started as curiosity quickly became a serious pursuit. Drawing on decades of musical obsession, countless hours spent playing guitar, and a deep love for digging through records, I embraced DJing as both an art form and a creative outlet. Behind the decks, the analytical lawyer, the passionate union activist, and the kid listening to records in his parents' living room all come together. Each set is part music history lesson, part storytelling, and part celebration of the songs that have shaped my life.

Today, I continue to advocate for working people, play guitar whenever I get the chance, and chase the perfect mix whenever I'm behind the turntables. My journey may have taken an unconventional route from lawyer to union activist to DJ, but the common thread has always been the same: a belief in connection, whether through ideas, collective action, or great music.

I come fully loaded with two turn tables, a mixer, my records, and two 10" speakers on stands. Ideally, you can provide a table for me to set up on, but I can finagle that myself if necessary. Simply put, I just need an outlet and a space that's about 3' by 8' and I'm golden.
