Overview
Hi there! I'm Mark and it's my pleasure to be your DJ. I attended Scratch DJ Academy in NYC where I completed their intensive, year-long DJ Certification program. I also attended Point Blank's Music Production Advanced Diploma program where I studied music production.
Although I can play any genres from Top 40, Dance, Hip Hop/RnB, Oldies, Amapiano, EDM, Afrobeat (and more), I consider Open-Format and Tech House my two favorite when playing out.
With years of experience working as a professional DJ in Phoenix, CDMX, NYC, and LA, I've been blessed to have DJ'd for personal and corporate clients, both large and small.

DJ Mark the Magnificent is a very appropriate name! I hired Mark to create a song mashup for my wedding. I had this idea to incorporate the "first dance" songs of many of my guests so they can have a little moment on the dance floor before my groom and I do our dance. We don't plan on having a DJ at the actual wedding, but we really wanted to have this mashup made. I downloaded countless audio mixing software and tried my hardest to do this myself. Getting help from Mark was the smartest thing I could have done. Mark was able to create the song mashup of my dreams, I just know the guests are going to love this!!!
Mark was quick, communicative, understanding, and MAGNIFICENT!!

January 6, 2025Professional - would definitely hire again!
We hired Mark for a New Year's Eve Party. He came out in advance to do a site visit and to assess equipment needs. He brought plenty of equipment - speakers, lights ,etc. and came early to allow for set-up time.
His music choices were excellent and followed what we had requested. He was excellent at communicating from time of booking to the party. I would definitely hire Mark again!

the party to check our space for sound quality etc. He customized
the playlist to some of our favorites and MORE!! He read the crowd
and changed the beat to meet the energy of our group. We asked him
to provide dance lighting, and it was off the hook....really set the mood.
Everyone raved about how great it was to have a true professional DJ.

Additional booking notes
Three 120V power outlets (Type B Grounded) within 75' of the DJ booth/area. Separate circuits would be better but not necessary in most cases. Depending on the equipment loadout, a space of up to 10' x 10' will be required for equipment setup. For Phoenix-based events, we request a venue walk-through before the event date to alleviate any issues or concerns with load in/out.
