DJ Maniakal

DJ Maniakal was great for out National night out event. He had the party going the whole event and was very responsive and attentive to our needs for the event. I would definitely book him for future events.

DJ Maniakal, aka Thomas Wheeler, is a talented, inspiring, humble, uplifting and always positive spirited disc jockey that brings the highest amount of energy to a crowd that one can imagine. DJ Maniakal is able to feel the vibe of any crowd he entertains and is notorious for keeping the party alive from beginning to end. Not only is he capable of mixing, scratching and generating his own “DJ” style but Maniakal is also recognized for being an entrepreneur in the music business. DJ Maniakal is very passionate about his trade; he loves what he does daily and it is clearly visible when he jumps on the turntables.

Being part of the nightlife industry, I personally witness hearing a variety of DJ’s perform weekly. Listening to different music sets and watching other disc jockeys execute their work, I believe DJ Maniakal’s vibe and energy is so extreme that when I hear his “feel good” and upbeat records, I want to break out and dance or nod my head every time I watch him perform. He knows how to communicate with his crowd and how to amp people up to have the time of their lives; I have witnessed this during plenty of occasions.

A few months ago, we both attended a quinceanera during an “off work” weekend and another local DJ was hired to host and DJ the event; knowing that Maniakal was a DJ from the bay area, she asked him to relieve her for a few minutes for a break. As soon as Maniakal got on the turntables, the entire vibe and energy of the crowd changed instantly and everyone was on the dance floor having fun! It was like night and day. A few people actually came up to Maniakal afterward requesting for him to play more records. I can honestly say that Maniakal’s skills and performance talents make him extremely stand out with the most unique and distinctive style that many have been able to personally witness, myself included.

DJ Maniakal is always prompt to his events and able to set up equipment properly double checking that everything is ready to go for his event(s). Maniakal stays humble in making sure that he continues to book weddings, special occasions and other small or big gatherings for friends or acquaintances. He is very polite and approachable from the beginning to end of any reservation he commits to. Maniakal listens to all requests in the process of the event doing his best to make the crowd he is performing for happy and satisfied with his entertainment. For example, when booking a wedding, Maniakal prefers to discuss options and plans on the phone first and then sets up in person meetings to get to know the couple and creates a pleasant vibe to make the pair feel comfortable with him and his services for their upcoming special day. Maniakal then creates a plan for the wedding party to keep the pair at ease and contributes in making their day extraordinary. I have personally overheard his phone conversations and have attended sit-down meetings with Maniakal and soon-to-be-wed couples and can confirm my observation of his genuine personality and his ability to keep an approachable, welcoming attitude throughout the process. Maniakal keeps his word and delivers exceptional services for the bride and groom and their attending guests.
