DJ Lady P

Chaz M. Cunningham Coggins formally known as Miss CC-Lady Poetist and now known as DJ Lady P, was born in Long Beach, Ca. She started having a love for music and poetry in Elementary School. Starting out as a poet with the name Miss CC Lady Poetist and further evolving her talents, she grew to love the art of DJing by watching her brother and cousin as they too were DJ's. By the age of 26 years old DJ Lady P decided to invest in her dream and is now a Radio DJ with Beyond The Mic on Urban Soul Radio/Realtalk 101 Radio and has also made DJ appearances at Soulfull Sessions with her artistic family Jouissance of Expression, So. Cal's Natural Beauty Pageant for Flourishe, RawArtists Pomona Showcase, Da Poetry and Music Lounge, Lemon Flavor Boutique Fashion Show, Rock Boy Fresh Unplugged Concert, Fireproof the stage play, The Music & Poetry Lounge at The Hilton Hotel, Skate Express, Euphony Restaurant and Lounge, Sevilla’s, and many other events and parties. She has also featured on the mixtape for up and coming artist C-Mo, as well as will soon be featuring on spoken word artist JoeMac Da Poet album and others. She specializes in spinning various genres of music but her favorite type of music to rock to is R&B, 90's, and Old School. You can always expect a personable interaction when working with her as she is anxious to keep people moving to what she calls "Feel Good Music". The quote she uses to motivate herself in the field of DJing is that "Music is the sound of emotion".
