DJ Hurricane

We hired him for our wedding reception, and he did an absolutely wonderful job. Played songs we requested, even helped us put together songs for a slideshow! Very professional and you can tell he loves what he does!

HORRIBLE TRAIN WRECK. DJ Hurricane had us fill out a questionnaire in order for him to know what songs to play for certain parts of the wedding (processional song, mother/son dance, etc. )--which was GREAT, we were happy to provide all the details!! However... he played ALL the wrong songs. Our ceremony song had SO much meaning to my husband & I; however, he played some random classical song. He played the wrong mother/son song, didn't use the playlist we sent him, didn't speak to keep the flow going, etc. OUR OFFICIANT had to step in to monitor his song selections and to keep the flow of the wedding. He continues to say he has 20 years of experience--unlikely. We also asked for discounted rate since he did not play any of the right songs--in which he responded that he would take us to court. Obviously, we don't want to waste our time so we just paid him in full. Disappointed is an understatement. Even the entire venue staff was in shock.

Do not hire. After completing his questionnaire for what songs we want, he did NOT even use it & played random songs. Wrong song for the entire processional, wrong mother/son dance, wrong playlist, everything! Of course, he still expected his full payment… DO NOT HIRE! Awful! Our officiant had to step in and monitor him.
