About
The love that I have for music and people started well over 30 years ago while growing up in Cleveland, Ohio. Back in the day I started out doing backyard parties and "the real" BLUE LIGHTS IN THE BASEMENT parties when cassette tapes and albums were the medium of choice.
I transplanted to the ATL in the spring of 1987 and semi-retired from the DJ game, I was enjoying the nightlife with all you fine folks in the "A". Anybody remember VIP Atlanta, Mr. "Vs" Figure 8, The Frathouse, Dominique's, Lenny's, Sharon's Lounge, The Real 112, and Sensations. "MARKO's" was my personal favorite because they kept it real and always had a good time.
I play and blend R&B, HIP-HOP, EDM, HOUSE and SMOOTH JAZZ. Will play POP, COUNTRY, OLDSCHOOL ROCK and TOP 40 upon request.
I came out of retirement in 2001 for 2 reasons:
1) I truly missed the interaction with people
2)There are a lot of DJS"s giving the profession a bad name.
