May 19, 2026Pinetree secondary has hired many DJ's throughout the years, but this one blew our expectations out the roof. For the biggest dance event of the school year, we communicated for a month in prep for the event. He came in ready with professional equipment, set up in no time, and immediately read the room. The song transitions, the track list , the mixing, everything was exceptional. Both the students and the teachers loved his presence. We hope to have him again next year for our school events, and HIGHLY recommend him for any large school event or assembly... as he will NOT disappoint! Truly a 11/10 performance.

Michael, born in Surrey, BC, with a Portuguese and African-American background, is a young and upcoming DJ. He first fell in love with the idea of DJing at a young age after seeing his babysitter play around with a DJ software online. Additionally, Michael was influenced by his American father, who always played various dj mixes from DJs down south. Michael brings an American DJ sound to Canada (hip-hop and R&B) while incorporating afro-beats, dancehall, Latin, dance/electronic, and other genres into his repertoire.
