What to expect
Diana’s Mambo Maniacs is a produced, programmed show featuring a variety of rhythms and songs, predominantly Mambo/Salsa, including Merengue and Bolero. The song selection is designed to inspire audience participation and dancing, while keeping them entertained throughout the show.
The show length can vary depending on how long the promoter/purchaser wants the program to run. It can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. A full 2-hour show will feature 15 to 17 songs and include (where available) a video program projected on the upstage screen highlighting the older Mambo and Salsa bands of the 50’s and 60’s. In addition (where applicable), the show includes wardrobe/costume changes. The show will also feature local, professional salsa dancers performing on stage and, when possible, teaching a short salsa class for the audience before the show begins.
Diana Sosa, inspired by her parents who danced for many years at the Palladium in New York City, has created a return to the ‘Glamorous’ days of classic Mambo and Salsa music. Featuring music from the likes of Tito Puente, El Gran Combo, Celia Cruz, Pete Rodriguez, Joe Cuba, and many more. Diana’s Mambo Maniacs will entertain your audience and have them dancing the night away to the best of classic salsa music.
