DeSean Kirkland is an accomplished American singer-songwriter, pianist, and producer known for delivering exceptional performances across a wide range of settings. Born on January 1, 1990, in Jacksonville, Florida, DeSean began his musical journey at an early age, performing a solo at his church at just four years old. By age ten, he was playing the piano, and his dedication to music earned him the prestigious inaugural “Jacksonville Commitment” scholarship to study Jazz Studies with a focus on piano at the University of North Florida (UNF).

During his time at UNF, DeSean performed with the elite UNF Chamber Singers, representing the university at high-profile engagements, and was an active member of the professional music fraternity Mu Phi Epsilon. These formative experiences, along with opportunities to tour internationally in South Africa and Italy, helped shape him into the versatile and polished performer he is today.

Since graduating in 2012, DeSean has built a reputation as a consistent and adaptable artist, performing for corporate events, intimate gatherings, and high-end venues.
