August 17, 2023Derrick is not your average, cookie cutter motivational speaker. He will have you laughing hysterically while also tugging at your heart strings. His message is simple, unforgettable and will leave a meaningful impact on your life. In addition to that, he didn't speak at our event until 4pm, yet he was walking around during breakfast doing magic tricks and getting to know us. He came back down during our team building activities and worked things he saw into his talk. He completely tailored his presentation to our group and got to know us. He even included our company logo on his slides. It was personal, inspirational, and life-changing. He was easy to work with, reliable and responsive. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone unique that will leave a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.

February 28, 2022I work for a company that serves adults with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities and Derrick came to speak to our staff. Derrick was instantly engaging. His bending of motivational speaking with his personal story and comedy (and some impressive magic) was moving and impressive. After he was done I approached Derrick and asked him on a whim if he would be interested in coming to a adults with special needs bible study group the next night and before I could finish my pitch he agreed to come. The following night Derrick joined our bible study group and performed for us for over an hour! Again he got the whole group engaged quickly with his comedy and magic. He blended in a bible study lesson which was really well done. Our folks loved him and keep asking when he's coming back! Over the course of two days I was incredibly impressed with Derrick.
