Derrick J. Little is an author, pastor, keynote speaker, and leadership communicator whose work is centered on helping people move from potential to progress.

For more than two decades, Derrick's life and work have placed him in environments where people matter—from ministry and education to luxury hospitality, leadership, and personal development. Those experiences have given him the opportunity to communicate with children, teenagers, singles, families, professionals, leaders, congregations, and organizations.

Derrick spent three years serving as a pastor and previously served three years in youth pastoral ministry, working with middle- and high-school-aged young people during critical stages of their development. He has also served in singles ministry, including leadership as a Director of Singles Ministry, giving him experience addressing the practical realities of relationships, identity, faith, purpose, and adult life.

His commitment to developing people has extended beyond the church. Derrick has spent more than five years working in public education with students ranging from elementary through high school. That experience has strengthened his ability to communicate complex ideas in ways that are relatable, understandable, and relevant across generations.

Derrick also brings more than seven years of luxury hospitality experience, including The Ritz-Carlton. Working directly with guests taught him enduring lessons about service, preparation, personal ownership, anticipation, attention to detail, and the difference between simply doing a job and creating an experience people remember.

As an author, Derrick has continued exploring questions of identity, faith, purpose, leadership, growth, and human potential through works including Queen V: You Are a Queen and Unveiled Kingdom.

But some of Derrick's most important lessons have come from his own life.

He understands what it means to possess potential and still become stuck—to have ability without adequate preparation, to recognize what needs to change and still struggle to change it, and to experience the consequences of patterns left unaddressed. Rather than hiding those lessons, Derrick has turned them into practical principles designed to help other people recognize their own patterns earlier and make better decisions about what comes next.

That experience is at the heart of The Unstuck Method, Derrick's signature framework for helping people close the distance between what they know, what they intend, and what they actually do.
