Dennis Baker

When you have Dennis for a concert, you can expect to have church. Dennis never comes with a song list, and has stated "I listen to what he (God) wants me to do" he always has a different songs set and people find they leave blessed and uplifted. This is a once in a life time thing, so let's have a time for worship and praise.......

Dennis is a 4th generation musician. He has been playing since he was 15 months old and playing in church since he was 4. He started singing gospel music at the age of 15, and started traveling with groups when he was 16. In 1986, he penned the original song, Jesus Really Cares, that was recorded by the group he was with, The Gospelaires, they were the first gospel group in southern IL to have a song reach the top 10 on the local gospel radio and sent to the singing news. Dennis mother sing the song and to this day, when she sings it, people are still touched, and you might hear Dennis sing it when in concert. (phone number hidden)3, Dennis started playing keyboard and singing with a mix trio, Destiny, from Anna IL, even tho they were local, they traveled 125 days the few years he was with them, during that time he wrote, arranged and produced the 3 projects they did as a group. In 1994, Dennis went back out on the solo field, and traveled. Then in 2001, he started traveling full time with the gospel family group, The Telestials (One Way Flight, Free Indeed) and did that for awhile. Then in 2002, he married Crystal Grace, and they worked together. Since that time Dennis has done worship in church, and in his spare time done some solo work.
