May 3, 2022Our experience wasn't the best but the DJ was kind and we were a very flexible crowd. DJ arrived only 15 minutes prior to event starting- I was getting nervous and texting thinking maybe he got lost. And once at our school, set up took longer than the DJ expected, I believe, because he didn't get started until 10-15 minutes after the dance was supposed to start. It was a bit embarrassing to have all the kids just standing around. We couldn't turn down the lights until he was ready so it made for an awkward time. Kids show up early for a middle school dance so for some, it was 30 minutes of standing around and the event was only set to last 2 hours. Once he finally got going, all the songs cut out half way and there were long pauses between music- minuets of time where he would announce he was having difficulties. The kids would stand around waiting. Again, embarrassing for me as the host, as many of the chaperones were asking what was going on. DJ told me after the event that it was our WiFI. But, had he or his wife asked me about it, I could have gotten him set up on a better connection. The issue was never communicated to me. And, had they arrived earlier, this may have been discovered and remedied then. It wasn't until at least an hour in to our 2 hour event that things began to run smoothly. DJ did offer to stay for an extra 15 minutes playing after our time which was a kind gesture, but being a middle school dance, parents were waiting to pick up at the set end time so many didn't stay. All in all, they are middle schoolers and they have fun no matter what, but it wasn't a professional situation and I would have probably used our church/school dollars elsewhere. Thank you for your services though, DJ Moe, the kids made some great memories despite the music hiccups.

In every DJs career - if being honest - there will be at least one event when nothing seemed to go right. This particular event was that one for Denni Ruze. I will not dispute anything this client reported, except to say that I thought we arrived on site a little earlier than reported. However, I am not using that as an excuse. After I asked, I was told that WiFi would be available, but the guest WiFi was so slow that my entire system had to be rebooted a few times. If I know in advance that no WiFi is available, or only slow WiFi is available, I would plan the gig differently. As it turned out, on this particular gig, there was a WiFi system available that I was unaware of, which would have resolved the issues reported. I am not saying that as an excuse; it is what it is, and the client was not completely satisfied with my services. I offered to extend the gig for no additional cost, but with teenagers being picked up by parents at a specific time, this did not offer the degree of remedy that I had hoped. I adamantly apologized to the client. If you will be considering us to DJ your event, please read the other reviews on us on this site, as well as the reviews on our website - www.denniruze.com. Again, my profound apologies to this client.

January 24, 2022DJ Moe did an amazing job at my daughter's quinceanera. I sent him m my song list ahead of time and he was able to play majority of our songs as well as take requests from our guest. Everyone enjoyed the music and had a great time.

December 13, 2017The music selection was really good, and the interaction with crowd was nice. He knew how to blend the music very well with the event. We will be using Denni Ruze Productions next year at the Austin Jingle Bell 5 K Race at the Domain.

As a mobile DJ, our performance is based entirely on the type of event, type of venue, and more importantly, the requirements of the host. That is why we are able to bring the beat to so many different type of events.
All of our performances are family-friendly. You do not have to worry about dirty lyrics coming through our speakers. Further, if there are young children at the event, we are even careful about the overall subject matter of the tracks we play.

DJ Moe and DJ Crispy are at the opposite ends of the DJ spectrum, yet they work in tandem to provide the ultimate mobile DJ experience. With these two DJs working together, we are able to satisfy the needs of youngsters, old-timers, and everyone in between. They will almost always both come to each gig (at no extra charge!). They’ll take turns on the board, thereby providing uninterrupted sound and energy for the duration of the event.
It is no accident that we are Austin’s go-to family friendly mobile DJ. Some mobile DJ services specialize the type of event, such as weddings or business events. We “specialize” in providing an all-around, entertaining, and fun mobile DJ experience.
We are proud to offer a family friendly mobile DJ experience. This means that you will not hear us play music with dirty lyrics. That doesn’t mean we don’t play the hits, including hip hop and R&B, it just means that we offer versions of songs with clean lyrics.
Our DJs are very personable. They can comfortably interact with youngsters, teens, young adults, and everyone else.
In addition to the type of music you want us to play, you will also need to decide what type of lighting you want, if any. We have a small setup that we can bring with us at no additional charge, and we have a large setup, complete with moving heads. We can also provide custom setups if you want something in between.
When we do our sound check, we will ask you about the maximum volume you're comfortable with. Once we set it, we won't exceed it without your permission.
