Overview

Denise Bruckno, jazz pianist and schooled player with a Master's in Music from West Chester University, is a musician hired by other musicians-jazz notables, musical theatre artists and opera singers alike. She performs for countless wedding ceremonies, cocktail parties and other private affairs. In 2006, she played for former President Biden's mother's 90th birthday party. In March, 2008, her jazz trio was featured at the Philadelphia Flower Show. Her repertoire ranges from Bach to Gershwin, Cole Porter and the Beatles. The Warwick Hotel, Philadelphia, said "Denise has a musical style that our guests always complimented and a repertoire and flexibility that satisfied most any request."

Beautiful Music and Easy to Work with!

We hired Denise for our wedding to play during the ceremony. She played traditional classical piano music before the ceremony while the guests were filtering in. We had three special request songs for the processional, bridal entrance, and recessional. She didn't blink an eye at our special requests and easily found the music. She sent us samples of the songs beforehand in a short video. I also wanted specific timing with the music and the bridal entrance and that went just perfectly (even without a rehearsal!). She was very easy to communicate with before and after booking. She came with all her own equipment (keyboard, speaker, etc.) and all she needed was a plug. Her husband came with her to help her set up and breakdown. She was very professional. I would 110% hire Denise again!

I hired Denise to play my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and could not be more happy with the service she provided! Denise was very communicative and even sent a video of her playing the song I wanted for my wedding processional. I would highly recommend Denise, she was amazing!

Denise is a beautiful woman with so much talent. She listened to my music playlist request and delivered everything. She has a lovely presence and performed amazingly. Great music for a great event!

Denise was wonderful. Very easy going and very good at what she does. She was here early, got set up and was ready to go when we needed her. Everyone loved the ambiance and atmosphere she created when she was playing. Great mix of classical and modern hits that everyone loved! Would certainly have her again for another event!

Denise Bruckno of Center City Philadelphia has been a performer of jazz and classical piano for the past thirty five years in the Delaware Valley and New York City areas. Venues include the Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Union League of Philadelphia, Hotel Dupont, Stone Harbor Yacht Club, North Hills and Spring Mill Country Clubs to name a few. In 2011 and 2012, she was the rehearsal and show pianist for children's theatre productions at the Hedgerow Theatre in Media, PA and was the accompanist for two touring shows produced by Philly Senior Stage, 76 Trombones, adaptation of MUSIC MAN and Oh What a Beautiful Morning, adaptation of OKLAHOMA.
