Demi Grace

Demi Grace is a singer, songwriter and dancer. She is a London-born Nigerian making her a product of the African diaspora. Demi is dedicated to unifying the nations of her generation and empowering young women which is fully demonstrated in her live shows using high energy female dancers and a racially diverse band. She is an international pop star with an incredible crossover sound similar to that of Rihanna, Beyonce, Sia and Pink. She has worked with and learned from some of the best names in music and is ready to step up as the voice of today's adoptive citizen worldwide.

Demi Grace was born in a small hospital in London, England. She is the youngest of three daughters and grew up in a traditional Nigerian home. Demi has always had a connection with the arts and entertainment. At the young age of three, Demi’s sisters, Esther and Deborah, and her cousin Tola, started a TLC inspired music group called the Peace Group. After watching her sisters perform in the Peace Group it birthed in Demi Grace a desire to sing.

Demi Grace began her music career singing back up for various rock bands in Los Angeles around 2008. Grace wrote and self-released her first single “Want You” which gained airplay in Brazil and Mexico in the first 8 weeks of its release and was placed in the feature film Phantom Halo! After self-releasing her first EP, I Am Fearless (which soon-after became the album Forward Movement Only), Demi signed a distribution deal with Hitman Records, a partner of Universal Music Group Canada. Music from that EP was placed on MTV’s The Real World: Go Big or Go Home and the show's official soundtrack. She gained commercial airplay in Maryland, New York and Georgia and her music is currently in rotation on several internet radio stations across the U.S. including Pandora, Spotify and Tidal. Grace has performed at several music venues around the US including the world renowned Webster Hall and House of Blues Sunset Strip six months before it’s close in August 2015, making history as one of the venue's final performers. Grace has even made a cameo alongside Beyonce in the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. In January 2016 she became the theme song singer for Softsheen Carson’s Dark and Lovely Fade Resist national commercial. Demi Grace's music has also been featured in several publications locally and internationally. Locally, the rising star has been reviewed by We Plug GOOD Music, Madame Noire, Urban Girl Magazine and many more. Internationally, Demi Grace has also been interviewed by Dubai’s leading newspaper Khaleej Times and in some of the top international Nigerian blogs such as Zen Magazine, Not Just OK, Spice TV Africa and many more!
