Overview
As a trained Actor and Improvisor, I have put my speaking skills to use Emceeing Events around North America- from Vancouver to Nashville, from Toronto to Knoxville and more. I have emceed events at Jasper Pride, Charity Events, Weddings and most recently the Poet Laureate Announcement for the Mayor of Edmonton/City of Edmonton.
I am able to follow a script or adlib or both if the situation occurs. My Emcee style is positive, smart and playful. I would love to emcee your event.

Delia was a delight to work with for our wedding. She was so Professional, and kept track of time for our program for the evening. She was funny, kept the guests entertained while informing them how the night will go!!! Our wedding reception went off without a hitch and we have her to thank for it!!!

What to expect
As an improvisor/performer- my style is very bubbly, fun and positive. I can roll with anything that comes my way and am happy to customize my performance to fit your event. With a variety of costumes, I can dress to fit any theme from Buisness to Elegant to Campy. I am great with audience interaction, livestreams and large groups.
About
Delia Barnett graduated from the BFA Acting Program at the University of Alberta and is a cast member of the Canadian Comedy Award Winning- Die Nasty the Improvised Soap Opera. She has worked as an artist in residence with Trickster Theatre- building plays created by the children, staring the children in schools and has appeared in countless award winning/nominated Edmonton Fringe Shows. She has emceed events around North America.
