September 12, 2024Ms. Hodges asked not to be recorded or photographed. Some of the people in attendance were offended by that. It was also stated that most of the jokes were not very original. Several of the committee members were upset at the fee, in regards to what we received.

Thanks for your feedback. This was an outside event, in the heat of the day, with a poor sound system. The microphone continually went out during the performance. Also, the audience was spread out in groups facing different directions, with no clear “performance area.” That is not ideal for a comedy show.
I asked not to be recorded, which should be a common courtesy of comedy show attendees. This info is also stated in the booking agreement. Interesting though, that they would be offended about not recording a “just ok” performance.
