DEBO, is a Collegiate Athlete, Marine Corps veteran and motivational speaker, dedicated to empowering individuals to develop a strong mindset and achieve their goals. Raised by a single mother and grandmother in Evergreen, NC, De'Von struggled with decision-making due to his environment, which resulted in his arrest and loss of eligibility to play baseball at the college level.
De'Von joined the Marine Corps and served for five years, followed by five years of government contracting. However, transitioning out of the military was difficult, and he turned to alcohol abuse, causing him to lose almost everything. It was then that De'Von decided to make a change and developed the DEBO mindset.
The DEBO mindset is all about overcoming challenges and pushing through adversity to achieve greatness. It has become a movement, with De'Von using his personal experiences to inspire others, particularly students, athletes, and veterans. His message emphasizes the importance of mental health, self-love, and the belief that there is life after the military.
De'Von's unique approach has earned him numerous speaking engagements, where he motivates and inspires audiences to strive for their best selves. His passion for helping others achieve their goals is evident in his work, and he is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those around him.
