July 13, 2014During our association, I discovered that Deanna not only possessed one of the finest operatic voices I've ever heard, but she knew many of the same standards from American Songbook as I did. Deanna and I formed a duo "Nu Monet" that same year and began performing around the Central Coast and many of the finer establishments. Deanna has broadened her ability and repertoire as an amazing artist bridging the gap between opera, pop and jazz. I offer my highest recommendation of Deanna to you. You are enriched by what she brings to the table. I say this with all humility having worked with some of the finest world-class singers of our time, not the least of which was Johnny Mathis.

July 10, 2014I have known Deanna for several years, ever since Hancock College was lucky enough to engage her as an instructor for the vocal performance classes, and the AHC Choir (in collaboration with the San Luis Chamber Orchestra) was lucky enough to feature her as soprano soloist in the Pergolesi Magnificat, the Beethoven Mass in C, and November 2013 performances of Carmina Burana. Hers is a stellar vocal talent, because she can do it all: classical, jazz, the American songbook, and anything else you care to name. I think this is one of the loveliest voices I have ever heard.

Deanna Delore is a multi faceted vocalist that is hard to compartmentalize into one specific genre. She performs jazz and standards with Big Bands, Small Bands, and Jazz Combos, but is also a classically trained lyric soprano that sings major solo oratorio works, operatic arias, broadway, and pop tunes with pops orchestras, opera symphonies and wind orchestras. She can do it all equally well.
Deanna is currently the Resident Artist for Opera San Luis Obispo Symphony. She attended Chapman University's Conservatory of Music in Orange, California. Chapman's vocal music program is one of the nation's premiere music programs and is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music . She earned a four year scholarship on her vocal merits and studied formal music and vocal performance during her tenure under the direction of William Hall. She graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree. She continued her graduate level education at University of LaVerne, earning a Masters Degree in Education and a California teaching credential.
Deanna's broad scope of training and sound vocal technique allows her to specialize in singing for every genre of music ranging from classical, pop, broadway, and jazz.
Deanna is a recording artist as well as a live performer and has had singing engagements all over California, singing classical oratorio works, live jazz with a rhythm section and big/small bands, solo concerts, and recitals, and has been the featured vocalist of Cafe Musique since 2013.
Deanna is comfortable in all performance settings ranging from home parties for small groups to large corporate events. She has sung for benefit shows with jazz combos, concerts with big bands, duos with piano or guitar, and with symphonies and chamber orchestras. Whatever your function is, she is sure to entertain and impress your guests while transporting them to a higher level of listening enjoyment. Depending on the size of your event and the function, please request what accompaniment you would prefer. The fee for the engagement is determined on the amount of musicians and length of time needed for services, and travel expenses may be required for long distances.
