Dean is an accomplished Balloon Specialist, Ventriloquist using Ventriloquist Figure and Ventrilo-mask to entertain and challenge both the young and young at heart and Comedy Magician.
Dean is experienced doing Balloon Events of all sorts from private parties, restaurants, holiday events, festivals, homecomings, retirement homes, churches, corporate gatherings, grand openings, and more. He has twisted at events for Ohio State University and the University of Dayton! He has fun and makes it entertaining.
Dean is noted for his Ventriloquism and especially the Ventrilo-mask! The results of such is pure laughter and fun.

August 1, 2017Dean came to a carnival style party for our daughter's 4th birthday. Honestly I had only seen his balloon sculptures when I hired him. He was so much more. He entertained kids with his engaging songs and music, ventriloquism, magic tricks AND made balloon sculptures for them. He was a party in himself!!! I couldn't believe how he did all this so organically, it is actually just as he puts it "play it by ear". We are trying to get hold of him again this year to recreate similar party magic for us for our daughter's picnic-themed 6th year's b'day party! We love the memories we created with him.

September 30, 2014Dean was organized, professional and talented. He kept everyone listening and watching from age 1 to 81. He involved the congregation and made the effort to learn some information about us to use during his presentation. He combined comedy and a good gospel message. I would definitely recommend him and invite him again.

With Dean's Balloons, you can expect a fun time engaging his crowd and creating some fun and unique creations, most of which are multiple balloon pieces. He is an accomplished Balloon Bouquet Creator and is busy during holidays and seasons when people are looking to bless a person with a unique Bouquet of Balloons made from at least 30 different balloons.
In Ventriloquism you can expect a Family Friendly Event using both his Ventriloquist Figure, Chester Sidney Dolittle, and his two Ventilo-masks! Using the masks means he brings people up from audience who become his puppet(s) for a time. Expect laughter and excitement to say the least.
Dean does do Children's Magic and uses it to not only entertain but challenge people that things are not always as they appear.

Dean is a retired Children's Pastor who entertains now because of his love for his Talents and People! He actually did not begin Balloon Twisting or Ventriloquism until he was in his late 30's and actually stumbled onto each of these gifts. Because of this, he loves to challenge people to be open to talents and gifts they have not yet discovered....at any age.
Originally from Illinois, he now lives in Ohio! He is married to his wife 49 plus years and has three children and eight grandchildren. Before retiring, he served churches in Vermont, New York, Southern California, West Virginia and most recently, Dublin, Ohio!
Dean may be older on the outside but he is truly "young" at heart and treats life with a great outlook! He truly loves people!
He entertains in all kinds of venues including Church, Corporate, Day Cares, Senior Homes, Hospitals, Restaurants, Festivals, Private Parties, Retirement Events, Grand Openings, Street Events and College Events.
I carry everything I need EXCEPT a Sound System! I bring my own Headset Mic!
I do not need special lighting except if I am doing something with a Church when I use Black Light Material! At that time, I need to be able to darken the building at end of event.
