About
The DayDream Project: A Legacy of Harmony and Heart
Music isn’t just a career for the DayDream Project; it’s our family’s shared language. At our core, we are a collective built on decades of professional experience, a deep catalog of original songwriting, and the unmistakable "blood harmony" that only a family can produce. Whether performing as an intimate duo, a lush trio, or a high-energy full band, our goal is to turn every gig into an unforgettable atmosphere tailored specifically to our audience.
A Foundation of Professional Excellence
My journey as a musician began with the rigors of the national stage. As the frontman for "The Cherry Pink Reason," I had the privilege of signing with Mercury Records in New York City. Working in the studio with legendary producers like Paul Leka (the genius behind “Na Na, Hey, Hey, Kiss Him Goodbye”) and Joe Messina (producer for Lesley Gore) provided me with a masterclass in musicality and professional standards.
Those early years were spent opening for national touring acts across the DMV region and performing for crowds ranging from intimate clubs to festivals of 10,000 people. Today, I bring that same "big stage" mentality to every event. I understand how to read a room, how to structure a setlist that builds momentum, and how to engage an audience so they feel like part of the performance rather than just spectators.
The Evolution of a Family Affair
The heart of the DayDream Project was truly born in Nashville, where I met my wife and musical partner, Angie. Our chemistry was immediate—performing together on PBS concert specials in Nashville before eventually returning to Maryland to continue our journey. As our daughter Britney grew up watching us from the wings, she didn't just inherit our love for music; she developed into a powerhouse vocalist in her own right.
This evolution allows us to offer incredible versatility. We feature both male and female lead vocals and specialized three-part harmonies that are rare to find in the local circuit. Because we’ve played together for a lifetime, our transitions are seamless and our sound is incredibly tight.
A Versatile Catalog for Every Occasion
As a published songwriter with a catalog of over 200 songs and active sync placements with "One Night Stand" in London, I approach every cover we play with a songwriter’s ear. We don't just "play" songs; we interpret them. Our repertoire is a curated journey through the 1960s to the 2010s. We can pivot effortlessly from classic rock and pop hits to soulful country ballads, and even children’s favorites when the setting calls for it.
Professionalism Meets Flexibility
We pride ourselves on being "gig-ready." While we specialize in the Duo/Trio acoustic format—perfect for events that require high-quality entertainment on shorter notice—we also maintain a roster of veteran musicians for full-band electric performances.
When you hire the DayDream Project, you aren’t just getting a band. You are getting a family of seasoned professionals who treat every note with respect and every client with the utmost care. We look forward to bringing our legacy of harmony to your next event.

Additional booking notes
Staging for the group depends on the size of group you have hired. A stage is not always needed. However because of the equipment that is needed we ask that positioning be apart from guest traffic such as a stage or platform or designated area.
If a sound system is provided we should know about it ahead of time .
